The Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open $10 Million Guarantee was won by Blair Hinkle yesterday that the event ended. Blair Hinkle defeated Justin Bonomo and won the $1,745,245 first place prize. With that victory, Hinkle now has over $2.5 million in tournament earnings in his career.
The final day started with 6 people and Greg Lehn on the chip lead. However Greg was the first player to leave the event. The K-J diamonds where no good against the A-Q of Bonomo. The board changed nothing and he lost from an Ace high
Samuel Bernabeu Guilabert was the next player to leave only 3 hands later. He went all-in with a pair of 2′s against Bonomo’s pair of queens and had no luck on the board.
Ray Qartomy was left in 4th position after an all-in with a pair of 7′s against K-Q unsuited that Hinkle had. One queen on the flop and one more on the turn was enough to give Hinkle a set and eliminate Ray.
Pahuja couldn’t go any further and left Bonomo and Hinkle fight for the title. Pahuja moved all-in for 7.45 million after a three-bet that Bonomo made. Pahuja with K-10 spades was behind Bonomo that held A-10 hearts. The board brought nothing and He was eliminated from an Ace high.
Bonomo and Hinkle battled for nearly six hours. Until finally on hand #223 Hinkle with a King high Straight eliminated Bonomo who was drawing dead with a pair of Q’s.
This was the first ever $10 million guarantee and Hinkle was very proud to win that event.
