Jonathan Little leads WSOP 2013 No-Limit Hold’em / Six Handed Event after beating Max Steinberg on one of the last hands of the event. 128 players returned for day 2 and Jonathan who was the chip leader after day 1 remained first after the end of the second day.
Some of the pros that were eliminated are Justin Young, Bertrand Grospellier, Phil Galfond, Brian Hastings, and T.J. Cloutier. This is one of the bigger events at the WSOP and players buy in for $5,000 for a total prize pool of $2,425,200. All the players give their best to get to the top but few make it.
Players who finish 54th or better get paid, and Brian Rast (54th), Olivier Busquet (51st), and Eric Froehlich (49th) grabbed their price. Daniel Negreanu who came 39th also got paid but for a player like him nothing from the first place would satisfy him.
14 players remain at the event at this time and some notable names among them are Allen Bari, Dan Smith, Andrew Robl and of course chip leader Jonathan Little.
Tomorrow day 3 starts and the remaining players will battle to get to the final table with the dream of earning a bracelet. Come back tomorrow for the winner of the event.
